Newborn sessions are best captured within the first 3 weeks of life, ideally the first 5-14 days. During that time, your baby is still very sleepy and curly and can be positioned without discomfort. After 3 weeks of age, they tend to be disturbed more easily while sleeping and are harder to settle and pose.
As Newborns can be unpredictable, Sessions go anywhere between 1-2 hours depending on the package you chose and this allows time to feed and settle your baby if needed.
If your baby is older than 3 weeks, that is totally fine! We can still capture your new bundle of joy as I photograph babies all ages. The session will be more relaxed as we work with what your baby is willing to offer and those curled up womb like poses are normally only achievable at the very beginning.
